So the name may not be that original, since we have (thankfully) passed that early 2000s phase of couples name mashups (Branjelina, Jaylor), but the blend IS a mashup that has carefully yet intentionally incorporated the ancient spice and smokiness from just a bit if Sumatra, into the chocolate-caramel creamy sweetness of our Guatemalan beans. This is a blend for people who want to taste that richness a coffee can deliver in a bolder roast, but without the bitterness of an over-roasted dark bean often found in lower quality coffees. You will NEVER get a carbonized (over-roasted) bean from Three Cups Coffee Company! You may, however, get cheesy names for a blend on occasion. Hmmm...cheese? Yeah, a grilled cheese with some thick-cut smoked bacon and a slab of tomato sounds good with some Guamatra right now!
